Considering last year we spent spring break during the circuit breaker, this year was a dream! Since we did the cruise just 2 weeks ago, we decided no staycations. We did find lots to do around town and had a lot of rest time. However, we’re starting to get restless to get off the little red dot…. Summers coming!
We started the week off with a “bang”. Ella went through the right of passage all women must go through. She got bangs cut. And she cried. Over the week she’s gotten used to them and I think has grown to accept them. I actually think they’re cute…. she has dreams of wolf cuts and long bangs so we’ll see where this goes.
Popcorn with admission! Not sure why there’s a giant ship in there… Next stop was the SEA aquarium. Ella had never been so that was fun. Very peaceful but not a long outing. 1 hour is really all we have for the aquarium.
I love that it says chicken on the bottom. The best. What shall I grind?!? Wednesday Liam and Avery went to friends house for a play date. So Ella and I had a girls outing. We went to the national museum of Singapore and saw the Home, Truly exhibit. Super fun interactive exhibit. Part of it was a reflection on covid and the day we were there was the 1 year anniversary of the beginning of the circuit breaker. It was tough to reflect back on that time. I might have been a little teary… we had lunch at the museum then went to this crazy Thai supermarket where I bought the BIGGEST mortar and pestle. Ella was mortified by me. Oh well. I love it.
